http://www.all4cellular.com/product/otterbox-iphone-5-defender-series-case-holster.html

All4Cellular have the OtterBox Defender Series Case with Holster for Apple iPhone 5 (BLACK, PINK/GRAY) for a low $15.96 after Coupon Code: "SAVE20" (Exp Soon). Shipping $2, Tax in Where applicable. This is about 38% less than elsewhere and one of the best prices we have seen.
Made with compatibility in mind, the OtterBox iPhone 5 Defender Series Case allows access to all ports and buttons on the iPhone 5. The holster easily clips on to your waistband so you can take your iPhone with you wherever you go.

If you want water proof, try Life Proof cases.  The only problem is the the headphone jack plug is removable.  I would loose.

The headphone jack takes an extension cord because a regular headphone plug won't work with the case on. There is a keeper for the removable plug on the extension cord. You don't really have to worry about losing the plug, but the whole extension cord system is a pain. The case also makes it difficult to plug in a charger and impossible to plug in my iphone to hdmi adapter.

LOL I lost both the headphone plug AND the xtra that comes with the case somewhere between OAK and Kauai.
Replacement plugs are $14 :smt005

They make an adapter/extender to allow charging. (thought I lost that for a day or 2 as well :smt044)

Still thinking of a way to thread a lanyard and some pool noodle for floatation.
