Hi Guys, I will be installing a Barber Hauler onto my AI but need some help on where on the Aka or Ama do I need to install a pulley (Block) and where should I install a Cleat for the rope. I have been doing some searching on the web but was wandering what you guys have done, any pics would be helpful thanks. :smt006

Do you think you could  do separate lines on each side or is it done with one line like in the photo.

Pat,

Can't help you with a Barber Hauler but...

There was a guy using bungee cords attached to each back eye on the amas getting good downwind sailing performance. He would attach it (in combination) with the regular main sailing line in the back sail eye hole. Then adjust sail slack accordingly. Very simple and affective. Bungee cords (one on each side) were out of the way and ran parallel with the rear aka bar when not in use.

I linked a video on it a long time ago but can't find it now on You Tube.
