I had two panes of lexan from an old window, so I set them up as two mini greenhouses for our sprouts.
Unfortunately we started with some sed that was past its sprout time so that has delayed things some. Today though the pumpkins and squash are starting to sprout. For us up here in the mountains we often haven't been able to plant until May, so we are getting a bit of a jump on things this year.

Sweet. This is my first year/season gardening. I live in a condo and my backyard is paved. My neighbor 2 doors down is a single guy that never goes in his backyard, so I offered to clean his backyard in return to use it for gardening. I spent 2 weekends cleaning it up and then spent $50 on wood chips to keep it clean. Super stoked to begin my gardening experience.

There's nothing like growing in a green house, no matter how small or big.    Keeps deer away,   Started growing tomato plants back in January, they're two feet tall and full of blossoms.

I went in  to check and water today then noticed this one orchid had bloomed.   A neighbor gave me that over 20 years ago.  That was the only time I'd seen it flower in all  those 20 yrs.  Several times I thought it was a goner, but finally figured out the right mix of soil and watering.       Got no idea what it is, but an expert orchid grower thinks it's an African variety.   It's the one hanging.
Sometimes the fish isn't the only prize.
