The reason high back seats aren't higher is to accommodate a high back PFD and to not restrict paddling.

Understood. They probably serve 90% of body types just fine.

Will still need a back stay to the AKAS but much better than stock for me. CUtting in aluminum tomorrow. Strap all kinds of gear to the back. No extra straps to remove when you need to take the seat out.

18" wide 24" high. Laser cut, deburred and run through the rollers to give the back some arch.

Back stay of 6061 T^ aluminum .080 thick screwed to custom AKA mount laser cut and machined from Delrin. SS fasteners with wingnuts so the seat comes off.
