ChuckE, Craig, and I launched in the "secret" launch.  Trolled around the corner toward the sisters- it was sturgeon water out there.  Came back, and started trolling down parallel to San Pedro Rd.  Chuck starts nailing fish-- in really stained water.  I switch over to crystal minnow, closest thing I could get to ChuckEs "weapon".  Managed a nice 18-20, then a HOG.  chuck'll post the pics.
We trolled around there-- watching chuck nail fish after fish.  Finally did a turn around the marin islands -- for nada.  Then back to brickyard-- bam!  more fish for chuck, and two more for me.

I'll be back on Sunday i think.

Sorry I haven't been paying too much attention to all the launch points up north.  As of now, I'm free on Sunday.  So does anyone mind sharing where the "secret" launch is?

-Allen

I was using a Rapala X-Rap like this one... except mine was all crystal white with an orange face.

Quite deadly!

Secret Launch

Take Central San Rafael off 101
East -
Pass Loch Lomond marina
Just (I mean just) before the brickyard turn-off, park at the very end of the breakwater. There's  a little beach just at the end of the breakwater.

Warning: At low tide this could be a mud hike! With the tides this weekend you can launch about 2 hours either side of high
