Eric and I arrived at the ramp a little after 7am. Action Jack was there to greet us and help me turn the trailer around (thanks Jack!). On the water by 7:30am, off the water at 11:30am. Nice morning on the delta, a little windy at times.
FattFreddie/Brett arrived later in the morning.

Jack caught the first fish right after he hit the water. I thought we would have a hot bite today. I caught a little bass right after that, then nothing else for me. Eric caught a beautiful bass withing the first 30 minutes. The first fish on his new kayak. Nothing else after that..everything turned off.

Here's the pics:

Eric reelling in his catch:

Eric's LMB. I love it when my son outfishes me.

Eric on his new ride.

Jack fishing the delta.

Life on the delta. I love the slow pace here.

Looks fun.  Nice LMB there.

One of these days I will get up to the delta.

I would say yes to float tube friendly. Low tide there will be more weeds showing but plenty of deeper water close by for a tube. It is by the town of Locke (sp?) Just off the Sacramento river.
