Drove down to Pebble beach with Martin (yakuza) and brian around 6AM this morning after camping at New Brighton beach in Capitola.  The swell was up and there was decent wind as well but hardly anyone else on the water.  My first drop in the kelp with a 5" swim bait brought up a 26ish" ling.  Put him on the stringer and second drop pulled up a 25" ling.  I released that guy thinking that i would save some room for a big one since we just got there.  but after those two, only caught small rockfish and kelp.  Martin and brian brought home a bunch of black rockfish, nothing really big though.   we got off the water at around 10AM due to the slow fishing and the swell.
