Saturday 9th Cameron Park

I'll be launching tomorrow morning at 8:00. Great place for big gills. I've caught my biggest gills there and there is a good number of bass.

How'd you do today? 

Never made it, my wife now has the darn cold/flu that is going around.  So I stayed home to take care of her so I could go to Berryessa on Sunday.  now that the sun stays up later I will start going after work.  I usually get there around 4:30 and fish til dark.  Probably start going in about a week or two once the water warms a tad more.  Hoping to get more monster gills there.

Is that lake all catch-n-release?

Yep, and even if it wasn't, you would not want to eat the fish from there.  We call the place goose poop pond.  And always wear waders unless you want to catch swimmers itch.

It has bass, bluegills, and crappie.  I've only caught one crappie in all the times I have fished there and I have fished there a lot.
