Had nothing to do this afternoon, so I threw one of my little sik in the back of the truck and headed for Mather Swampy Lake. On the lake around 4pm off around 7pm.

Finally... I've been out 6 or 7 times lately and got nothing but skunk. Man did I stink real bad. :smt013
Well, I was able to break the curse today. It might be because I went back to my old Longs Drug $4.99 straw hat. Whatever works....

Caught 4 bass. The first was small but had a huge gut. Second might be the biggest of the day. Number three was a good fighter and number four was a dink.

I'm going to wear that hat again tomorrow. :smt002
