SAN PABLO RESERVOIR FISH REPORT
March 3, 2013
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is open with the hours being 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and boats being off the water by 5:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available. Our last plant of Mt. Lassen Trout was on Thursday February 28, 2013 with 1,080 lbs. of catchable Trout and 120 lbs. of trophy Trout. The water temp has been around 52 degrees. The Trout bite is excellent and they were being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area and across the other side at Sandy Point and Scow Canyon and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area aswell . PowerBait for the Trout such as Chartreuse and Spring Green have been working as well as the Mice Tails and Nightcrawlers inflated, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and Kastmasters seem to be working for those that are trolling.

Carl & Paul of San Francisco caught 10 Trout using Chartreuse PowerBait at Sandy Point on 2-26-13
Dr. Robin Mitchell of Martinez caught this 5 lb. Trout trolling with mini flashers and worms near the Rock Wall on 2-26-13
Moin Salmoni of Walnut Creek caught 4 Trout on 2-27-13
Anthony(no last name given) of San Pablo caught this 30inch Trout using a Kastmaster on 2-27-13
Jose Ordoveza of Pacifica caught this 4.5lb. Trout using Green-Garlic PowerBait in Scow Canyon on 2-28-13
Mel Sapinoso of Hercules caught this 7 lb. Trout using a Chartreuse Mousetail in Scow Canyon on 3-1-13
Jordon Wong of Hayward caught 3 Trout using White worms with Green PowerEggs near the Main Rec on 3-2-13
