Late report for dux 6/25

Duplicate of sat. just more kingfish. I fixed my ff so that was a relief, got in at noon, made it to 60 feet deep 1/2 mile from the bouy trolling since 40'deep. Nothing but a 'chovie bitten in half. Moched and trolled around for a good while Nothing. Came back halfway and drifted for a flattie for a while. LOTS of king fish, a couple rocks. Fished till my tray was gone, coming back in I saw LOTS of bait and shit real close, just past the breakers, but I had to split. Next time, Im fishing close too.
Got a good wave coming in sideways, That malibu 2 is a barge.
Last post till next week because of the HIGH SIERRA MUSIC FESTIVAL, save some of those lings for me folks! Ben

thanks for the report Ben, those kingfish make great tacos, j/k , I've caught butts out there before on fresh dead chovies, the butts out there are huge, never scored from the yak though, only from a boat.  have a great time at the festival.  jtf..
