if you use PBA amo, it's loud, if you use lead, it's very quite - proven and tested by me

It's only loud if you use the fast ammo, with the lead its below speed of sound, no crack, much quieter. The other ammo is just like you said, loud as a 1022.  Mooch and i had a comparison with this exact rifle, my 1022 and all kinds of ammo.
