Each complete manual turn is approx. 1 feet. Today at shadowcliffs, using my ff and feeling the weight hit bottom, I found that 25 turns was about 32 feet... hope that helps.

Peace & blessings!

I marked my cable every 10ft and use a shuttle hawk so I only have to let it down once

I changed my s/s wire to braid and marked off every 10', it's easier to mark; I also use the ff to also monitor depth...

I used a paint pen but that's on cable.Im sure you could use any dye marker for braid and could even color code for depth

How about dropping the markers and purchasing daiwa samurai braid. They are marked every yard with different color.
