Whiskeytown 3/2/2013

My back is as good as it is going to get so I said to myself I gotta get the new Revo out for it's maiden voyage today. Got on water by 9:00ish... flat down... no wind, a couple of strikes but no fish. The whole time I was thinking of how I am going to pimp out this yak and where to put everything. Very nice ride.

Guilt trip...I could not believe how much water you can cover. I can jump from one spot to another a lot eaiser. My legs are actually a bit tired. The only downside, I believe my other ole' Hobie Quest felt cheated on and to be honest, I love the new boat and although I did paddle some, I feel I cheated myself a touch of a long paddling experience.  It is going to be interesting adjusting.... to the darkside

Well, at least I haven't banned you pedaler-types from GS yet!     I'm stoked to hear you got out and that you enjoy your new ride, Dave.   

With any kind of health chalenges, it doesn't matter what yak you are on! Congrats on just getting out.

The sore leg thing only happened to me on my maiden voyage... ever since I have been good.  Its so funny to me looking back.  There were so few peddle guys back when I got mine, and now they are everywhere.  Welcome to the darkside, and enjoy! Muhahahahaha
