       Me too...          gonna have to put it off until Thursday or Friday.

Had to cancel myself    Got over to the coffee shop, and after getting some rocket fuel, truck wouldn't start...  Luckily it's across from a gas station, so I borrowed some jumper cables and convinced a coffee goer to jump it.  Battery has been weak since I haven't been driving it much recently.  Got down to the harbor and decided to wait for some twilight to see the conditions on the water.  Lots of boats going out, constant stream of them if you will.  Decided i'd drive over by the water and see the surf, but at an intersection the truck died on me again.  Ugh... Checked the terminals on the battery and tried to wiggle them around and I finally got the truck to start again.  Headded home, since I didn't feel like testing it any further.  Will be replacing the battery and doing an oil change today I guess instead of fishing.  Didn't look too bad out there, but a little bit of a breeze.

That sucks Al  On the bright side that Truck has been Pretty good to you. Be good to her(look who's talking) She will be happier by the end of the day. Some people are wishing they only had to swap batteries and oil right now

bummer on the truck probs Al. At least it was in town and not back-of-beyond somewhere. I had to pay $80to get a new battery in Guerneville once, but I was happy to pay it!


My boss (who rode a motorcycle) used to laugh at the constant truck maintenance I used to have to do (I drove an 80's ford).
I said I had to have the truck though.
When he asked why I said, "hey, the truck hauls the boat".


And around here, we all know you gotta have the boat.

You will have confidence in your truck battery this fishing season...SUNNY SIDE UP..

Yeah, all said and done now.    Two cars oil changed, filters, K&N Recharged, new decent battery, some crazy expensive spark plugs for Sara's car, and some air for the tires. Truck seems better now.  Maybe I'll give it a wash    I'll try and not run down the battery jamming on the radio at hookups 

   Friday still has potential.     Likely be a madhouse on Saturday.
