I like being comfortable when I'm dressing to go diving.
The biggest complaint I have is finding a place to sit while I getting my gear on or taking it off.
The bumper of my Explorer has worked for years but it's narrow and not at all comfortable.
A camp chair is OK when getting ready to go, but sucks when I get back because it gets soaked.
I found, for me, the perfect solution.
I stopped by the thrift store on my way from Home Depot. Not looking for anything particular I stumbled upon my solution.
It's a shower chair for the elderly.
It's like a mini bench, lightweight, won't absorb water, all 4 legs are individually adjustable (kind of like the leg on an aluminum crutch) that way if the ground is uneven I still have a level platform to sit on. It also makes a cool ice chest stand or small work area.
I saw it online for $54...$15 at the thrift store.
I removed the seat back and assist handle so it's only a little bench. No arms to get in the way of me moving around.
I'm stoked.

Great idea. I just found 2 of those in a parking lot. I grabbed them thinking they would be perfect for a duck blind seat, but this looks even better. They bwill store easy in the 5th wheel or the tool box in back of truck too.

Very nice. I usually end up using one of those wooden slat seats in a campground shower. You can barely fit on them. Thanks for the find and share.
