Went down & met my friend & his family in the Mojave desert for some cool winter riding & camping. My bike is all f'ed up after sitting the last 1 1/2 years so I had to borrow one of my buddies & he was kind enough to lend me a sweet Honda 450 that was perfect in the sand & rocks. His parents had just picked up a Kawi side by side so they could safely have some riding fun with their granddaughter. She loved riding in the 'little car'. This riding area, Spangler OHV, is all open terrain so you can ride wherever your bike & skill will take you & there is some crazy steep loose hill climbs & technical rocky routes to explore. Didn't get many pics cause I was challenged enough just trying to keep the bike upright & not get too far behind my buddy. He just raced the Baja 1000 on a KTM 450 so that wasn't easy. Already can't wait to go back again!

If I can get my bike squared away & my shoulder feels better. Kinda iffy but I would love to ride that one at GT & also do the 49er @ Elkins too if I'm up to it.

Hella cool Jim!  I'm glad your shoulder is feeling well enough to ride. I'm sure you're a beast on two wheels!

Nice trip Jim. Reminds me of my 4wheelin days.

I dig the little Kawasaki OHV, that is  a cool toy!

That is a huge camper. Hard to believe the truck could tow it.
