Looking to upgrade my handheld GPS and was wondering witch unit you guys would recommend, I am looking to spend around $200.00 or so. I did a search but could not find what I was looking for. Any comments or recommendation would be appreciated. :smt006

I just got the Garmin Montana 650T.  It has an optional marine map which displays depth contors at 10 ft increments, all the buoys, and even the MLPA boundaries.  It is water proof and ruggedized with a full color touch screen.  Have not taken on the water yet,  but I'm excited to do so.  Its super nice.  More than $200. though.

Both good units build on the platform of the #1 selling handheld; the 76.

Seems weird to me that I bought my Garmine 60cxs used from a friend for 200$, 5 years ago, and the price for something equivilant is still around 400$!  For once I think I got a good deal!  :smt003
