Those who fish with me a lot know that for the past 2 years I have been looking for an accurate wakasagi imitation jerkbait that will dive 20ft for fishing tailwaters of pond smelt reservoirs.  I think I have finally found that bait.

It should arrive in the mail next week.  Ill let you know if it works (provided I don't lose it on the first cast).

It was a bit pricy, but  I have been e-mailing local lure makers trying to get something like this custom made which would have cost me more than 22.50.

I have tried the TDD 9s, and was unhappy with the color selection and it didn't quite make it to the depth I wanted.  My favorite lure for wakasagi tailwaters so far has been the Owner Cultiva SP 70.  I hope the Evergreen lure will out perform the Cultiva.
