i was at albertson's yesterday buying some snacks for my guinea pig and saw they have locking tab waterproof boxes with sealing o-rings for sale. 3 different sizes. they say they can withstand freezing, non shattering and water / airtight, similar to the lock and lock boxes. i bought a small one for a camera. it was 2.99 and im surprised how sturdy it is.

i am starting to think pelican boxes are way too expensive and heavy for what i need.
