No fishy love on Father's Day at ARW.  Cast of characters: Chris, James, Nate, Matt and myself.

Made enough bait with one cast at MLK, James was there earlier and had the same success.  It was breezy with small standing waves for a while, calmed down for a second and then developed into a washing machine.  Total opposite of Sat's conditions.  We all bailed at about the same time (~10:00) and called it a day.

Chris caught and released a few undersized halibuts.  Otherwise nothing else to report.  Even the ARW halibut slayer, Nate didn't have any hali love so I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Man, I should have just stayed in bed this morning.  I didn't even get the hint when I could barely make bait at the shiner spot, I just drove to an unscouted spot so I could continue to kill my arm throwing the net for nothing :smt011.   Didn't matter anyway, the wind dampened any spirit I had left.  A big breakfast before heading home made me feel a little better :smt003.

It was cool to see everybody that made it out though, and very cool that my friend Matt survived his first trip out in the bay.

Next time....

James it will happen when you least expect it to.
