Went out with my next door neighbor for a couple hours since it's a nice day out there.  No Sturgeon caught today but really enjoyed a great day OTW.  Ran into Coast Guard on the way back and took some pictures...

Thanks for the report Sonny. I fished over at Mcnears for one small leopard shark. Only dinos were the ones jumping/taunting me as I pulled anchor to leave. Got to wish Ranger Jim & Ray Merry Xmas. Oh yeah Merry Xmas to you too Sonny!   :smt001

Hiya Sailfish
Great report & Pix. I love the ones of the CG. Were they gonna board ya?
Salty It was good to fish with you at McNears yesterday. Sorry about the Nada sturgeon report. I thought it got good at about 2:30 for an hour as you witnessed.  I lost(another)one after he ran for a while. I also had one good pumper that I missed :smt009
Man they were sure jumping around us!
3 for 6 hooked at McNears....this learning curve is killing me. I keep writing about it to ease any others that are having pain.  It's great to be able to use that overflow especially yesterday at the low. Just a little mud....10 feet. It would be so Marin of me to complain :smt003
MERRY CHRISTMAS Brothers and Sisters of NCKA!
Also to you Ranger Jim. We gotta love the hospitality of McNears

Looks like a nice day, Sonny.  Why did the CG check you guys out?  Are they doing fishing enforcement now?

They said we were fishing a little too close to Ozol area but we anchored more than 100ftI from the dock. They also checked safety equipment and everything was fine.
