Congratulations.  Some of us Loose Screws are retired and hit the water as often as possible on week days to avoid the crowds.  You're welcome to join any time.  See you at Crabfest.

Wow!  what a great response from everyone!  Thank you all.

I've felt bad about not getting out to fish as much as I've wanted or been invited to, but wrapping up at work, I made the mistake of telling 'em I was planning to retire too soon and there were several projects folks wanted done before I left.  I think I was able to meet everyone's final needs before taking off.  Even worked on hiring a couple new apprentices and a journeyman to help take over.  I was concerned about the hands I was leaving things in, but found a good guy a couple years ago to mentor and now with the new positions they are hiring, he'll have the help too. 

Fishing has always been an important part of my life; it's added in part to the quality that makes life worth living.  Discovering others here who also love to recreate in the sport just adds to that.  Now that it doesn't need to take a back burner to work, I am looking forward to getting good at it.  ha!!

You're gonna love doing everything when YOU decide.  No appointments before 9 or after 1.   Cocktails at 3!  No fishing on weekends except for NCKA events!
