I drove out to Livermore today to look at it.
I have never seen a kayak in worse shape.
yes it has turbo fins but they are both torn and need to be replaced to be used.
its been stored outside for a long time on its side with the aka bars still attached so made big dent in the side. an I think I felt a crack inside the hull on the inside of the dent, not sure its repairable
hull has about a gallon of water inside(prolly rain water) ama's have water inside.
he lost or cant find dagerboard and bags for sail and bars
sail has mold on it.
seat is sun bleached white on one side
and the cheap non hobie paddle is bent from being crushed between the aka bar and the hull with a bunjie cord
So I had to pass this one. its a 09 model

what kind of guy would treat a sweet ride like that?

im not sure if he would drop the price, I was pretty discouraged so I kept the cash in my pocket and didn't even make an offer.

wow...what a crappy way to take care of one's things.  good call on passing.

can't believe the guy had the nerve to state "everything is in great shape" on his listing and ask that ridiculous price considering what you just showed/told us.
