Yup, its the luck of the newbs, well, at OP I believe it was last sunday at about 12pm,  Anthony and I went out for some stipers, well we were out there for a good 2hrs, and around 2pm, The swells started to pick up bad, and I mean BAD... well we decided to stay a few more minutes because Anthony said he felt a few bites. A few minutes after that, I felt my rod move, and all of a sudden it just drops, I was surprised, I yelled oh shit! Anthony comes my way and says I cant get close to you because of the swells, so I had to land it myself, I reel it in, and it just starts going crazy on my yak, so I hold it down with my feet, and measure it, 26.5 !!! So I get the club, and whack it a few times, in total, it took me about 3-5 mins to land it. On the way to shore, it took us almost 2 hours to get back to shore, the swells became little waves and it just kept pushing us around. All in all, it was a great day. Thats the story of my first hali!!!

Vince, It seems as though you have catching fish running through your blood.  The fish better be on the look out.  Imagine what Vince will do when he has more than one Rod.  Watch out.
