I am looking to get a Eagle Cuda 168 or Hummingbird Piranhamax10, has anyone used these fishfinders before?  Or any other suggestions for a sub $100 fishfinder.

Thanks

My definite recommendation would be the Eagle Fisheasy 245DS.

Blows both of the others you listed out of the water.  Just compare the features side by side.  These little units are packed with features and they have a dual sonar transducer now.  I have th 240 which is the same unit minus the dual sonar transducer.  Holds up very well to heavy use too.

I've said it a hundred times, but I'll say it one more time.... plug the spare plug receptacle with silicone (the one that is for the speed/temp transducer) and use dielectric grease on all electrical connections.
