I met up with sonoramike @ New Melones. It was a cold Nov. day @ 39 degrees. We paddled 5 miles to the fishing grounds where we fished for the day. This isn't a fishing  report ,but reality of way I bought the cuda 14. After being on the water for 5+ hrs. we made the 5 mile 1.5 hr paddle back to the launch area.
In all 10 mile paddle and 5+ hrs on the water and I felt great. The seating arrangement and the deck space made for a comfortable day on the water. The stability along with the the rudder system made paddling the cuda with ease. We had a good SW wind when we launched and was fortunite that the wind died down for the paddle back.
At the end of the day this was the sole reminder of why I made my decision to switch kayaks, comfort with performance. Very happy with the Jackson Cuda. Next is the salt. Look out. :smt003

Thanks,
Tim

Sounds like a great day!  That'd be our first long haul review - thanks for sharing.
