When does Commercial Crab begin?

Couldn't find it on the dfg site just want to make sure how to plan some upcoming weekends.

It opens Thursday, but they'll be dropping their pots at 6:00AM tomorrow.

Keep in mind that the crab opener north of Sonoma County is delayed by 2 weeks, to give the crab time to grow to maturity.

Any suggestions on a location north of Somona county good for camping, fishing, and crabbing?

 :smt044Commercial crab season doesn't start til Dec 16th up here, but that could be as late as January.  Trinidad has been on fire with big limits in short amount of time. My buddy got a limit in 45 minutes yesterday.  Good camping and crabbing, but most ocean fishing north of Sonoma is closed except ca halibut, sand dabs, perch and sharks.
