Can't go during the week but I will be there Saturday from 6-noon.

Won't be on any channel because I don't have one - it will be my first time fishing from a yak (and trying to stay right side up).

I have no idea about the numbers.  I saw a small stack of entries when I signed up, but that was a while ago.

If I am competing against that few anglers, I am happy and sad.

I'm happy that I will have a much better chance of winning, I'm sad because it is a good cause and a good venue with an awesome prize and should attract more attention.

It is killer for me that it is on fathers day and this being my first fathers day being a father. I know it is tradition to have it on that day but I really think it makes it hard for a lot of people to make it.

I do think a lot of people are going to enter the day of. I don't make it over to SC that often and I don't like sending money in the mail so we I enter I do it the day of the event.

Personally, I think Father's day is a poor choice of a day.

You eliminate a large number of potential participants, and any venue is going to be very crowded.

it's pretty funny how mom's plan father's day as something like morning tea followed by a museum walk
finished off with a gallery visit topped off with a costume drama (jane austen anyone?)  :smt078

I guess it's a bit like a guy getting his wife a reel :smt104 . hopefully he only does that
once and then learns to buy jewellry or Coach (tm) leather products from then on.
