Longboard fishing anyone?

I began fishing off a longboard while growing up in San Diego.  I still do it today (35yrs later), but with less frequency.  The easiest place for rockfish in my area is Linda Mar beach.  The paddle out from the beach is a couple of minutes or climb down the cliff and the paddle is 100'.  Anyway, surf and wind conditions are hardly ever a major concern.  In fact, there's a on-line surf cam pointing at the fishing spot, so you know the exact conditions before you arrive.

Just thought I would share.  I'm always down for a quick trip if anyone is interested.
