I got my net at bass pro shop online in 1\4 mesh 5foot made from nylon istead of mono I think this will be better on the smelt than mono we tore off a lot of gills with eugenes net but I have never used it and I will find out how good it works on saturday and I will post the results. here is the link where I got mine Even though it has a little astris next to it I still ordered it and I got it overnight. http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=1351&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults

Anybody!who knows?I am ordering a throw-net 1/4"mesh.Is mono or nylon any better than the other.Dont want to try something that has allready been tested? :smt009
