I'm working in SF tomorrow. I'll throw the kayak on the truck. Where is a good spot to park & chill?

Well...in 2010 I got there so late that I had to park at Islais Creek Park because parking was limited. It was kind of a long paddle on the way back with the tide going out.

There appears to be a parking lot next to the Bay View Boat Club at 489 Terry A Francois Boulevard which is just south of pier 48. Looks to be plenty of launch ramps in that area. It's just a matter of getting parking nearby which is why I plan to get there early. I'm planning on leaving Santa Cruz between 9-10am. I'm gonna chill for the day...bring my portable gas grill and grill up some sausages...drink some brews.

So that's my plan. I'm gonna try for the parking lot next to Bay View Boat Club. Check it out on google maps. If I can't get in there I'm just going to try and get as close as possible.

I'll be driving a midnight blue 1997 Nissan Pathfinder with an orange Trident 15 on top. If anybody would like my cell phone number feel free to send me a PM here at ncka.
