Crabbing Clinic @ Headwaters 10/17/12

Great clinic last night, with a bunch of good people.  I learned a lot and it got me more excited to catch my first dungies with a crab trap.  January can not get here fast enough for Crabfest.

It was standing-room only at Headwaters Kayak shop for the crab seminar.

A total of 58 people made it out for Victors Crabbing form kayaks clinic at Headwaters. One lucky person walked away with a brand new Promar TR-102 trap. Peter won the best potluck dish award with his Peach Chili. Man that was good. Major thanks to Victor for putting this together. Who would have thought that crabbing from a kayak would ever be so popular?

Thanks Victor and Dan, I had a great time and learned some new stuff about crabs.  I only wish Victor had shown me how to measure them.... point to point, right?

Having never been crabbing, I found the session very informative. Thank you Victor for the presentation. You did a great job. Thank you Dan for providing the venue, hotdogs and the sale items.

BTW, I think I left my gauge on the roof of my truck. Did anyone find it in the parking lot?

Wish I could have made it down don't know if I'll ever try crabbin but knowledge is key .I hope to make the next clinic ATD's was freakin great I'm sure this was awsome as well.Way to go team headWaters!!!

The next one will be trolling for trout will Aubrn Trout Dude on October 31st. Just in time for the next Fresh Kats Tournement at Amador.
