Auburn Trout Dude asked me to post this Video. He shot it with his GoPro while working on the Little Truckee River.

I love the LTR. I used to live in a little town called Washington, CA, about an hour from it and fished it every chance I got. Can't beat the rainbow fishing along the river near town.

And that's why a weighed treble is called a "Sockeye Fly".  Spawning Kokes don't readily hit, and I doubt that section of the river is open for trout on an egg bite, so no fishing envy for me. But still cool to see.

In Idaho it used to be legal to take them with a treble. That was in the late 70's when I was stationed up there. They had no limit either; rangers used to say just get them out of the river because they were becoming too plentiful.
