I just pulled out a smallish plum tree from my back yard. I'm planning on taking it to the dump but I'm wondering if it would be good to use in the smoker.

What do you guys think?

I've seen that question asked on the Internet. Some people use it for smoking.

Plum is great!  Makes a very sweet smoke.  If you want to get rid of any of it, I'll take it off your hands.  Going to Tiki?

Yeah, I read a bit about it and it sounds like it is used by some so I decided to keep it...I don't mind sharing some though.  It's not much, just a 5' trunk and some larger branches.  I dumped the smaller branches.

I'm thinking I'll be at Tiki but not positive yet.
