monterey 10-26 non yak

Went out this mornin with my brother in our boat because it was just to choppy for the yak. We found a big school of rockies roght off the bat and we were nailin them every cast. I caught 2 lings back to back bothe barely legal though so i tossed them hoping for a hog. Never got him though. While i was battling a big black my brother set the hook on somethin that just started screamin line but cut his line after takin a solid run. After catchin a crap load more cod we saw a school of really big fish only 20' down so i instantly thought sea bass. I immediately brought my jig up into them and on the second jig up my rod doubled over and the fight was on. After a 30minute battle with what i had assumed was a nice sea bass i reeled up a stingray that i had foul hooked. Needless to say i was very disappointed. Off water at 11
