Lot's of reports of bait in and out the harbor. Doing a scouting trip tomorrow to see if theres anything big outside of the bait pile. Any other intel is more than welcome. :)

Wish I could make it.
If the bait isnt in the harbor, try the kelp near the boueys to the south of the ones directly in front of the harbor mouth (looking seaward).
I found short dines (5inches) and some big jacksmelt out there.

Thanks Dan!

Any luck with squid? If so are they on the surface or near the bottom?

Got one short ling on a squid head (3 way bounce ball rig). Most if not all of my bites on dine/jacksmelt. The bait was mid level to surface level. They chased my 5' swimbait and thats how i found em. (prolly cuz it was dunked in butt juice).
You may want to get cheap sardines from an asian market.
