This is an honor for me, to be selected as the MC and the entertainment for the prestigious Presiden't Banquet in December. Among the who is who in huge Ag, there will be some very influential people in the mix. No, Romney and Obama probably won't be there, but many political figures will be. In lieu of payment for services, the wingshooting hunt I posted a while ago is "our" payment for the event, not to mention a great meal and cocktails. (and a comedy show by yours truly!) Anyhow, thought I would share with the group, probably be the only time my pic is grouped with Professors, University Presidents, and experts in the Ag field! I gotta frame an 8x10 of this for mom!

congrats, rich.  That's good press, among a distinguished panel, including

~~~
Mike Wong, Senior Vice-President and Merchandising Manager of Columbia Grain, Portland and Kevin Kaufman, Group Vice-President, Agricultural Products for BNSF Railway, will bring their perspectives on state, national and international grain markets, evolving agricultural transportation issues and the expansion of state and Pacific NW grain handling infrastructure and more. Mike was raised in Bainville, Montana and has been with Columbia Grain's PNW Division for 29 years, eight of those years being spent in Great Falls, Montana.
~~~

Wong???  Check out his pic - Montana might be the only state in the union where even a guy named Wong = White!
(I know you are trying to steer clear of the ethnic jokes on the board . . . )

That is funny! I want to point that lineup out to al those teachers that said I would not get anywhere being a smart A$$. It is a very distinguished panel I will be introducing throughout the event, and I know it will go miles for promoting my career. I am not the best in political humor, and there was some request for comedy in regards to recent Gov't regulation change for the Ag industry, and some on the new President. Going to be a challenge, and all has to be PG, on account of families there, and of course the fact that it is a government encompassing event. Proud to say, I am confident in my abilities, and really look forward to 7 days of nonstop bangin away at the best waterfowl and upland game hunting int he state of Montana! I know the people that I am bringing will enjoy as well. I plan on recording with my HD video camera, and will post the video on my youtube account, and here if you guys want me to.  Thanks a million guys!
