Well yesterday I picked up a brand new still in the package 2011 hobie outback, for less than most used ones go for. I was so excited to get it in the water it took its maiden voyage in my pool lol. I can't wait to actualy get it on a lake or river now, and to actualy meet up with some of the members on here.

Have had my PB for two months. Great fun rigging it to your style of fishing. Mostly freshwater for me, but have started collecting for the salt. It is quite an addiction!

I can already tell that rigging it is going to be a pain, it's hard to make up my mind on what I want where.

Ask any questions you have on here... and be patient.  Replies come very quickly.  We can take pictures and what not to help you decide what to put where.  Ram mounts, pole holders, downrigger, anchor trolley... there is a lot of stuff that goes on a fully rigged yak... and a lot of ways to do it.  But for you, there will only be one right way... and you don't want to drill any holes you need to fill later.

Yeah I plan to take my time rigging it, good news is I'm going to a kayak fishing seminar put on by yakhopper tonight so I'll get some good tips and pointers from him.

Well I've taking her out a few times and broke her in with some large mouth bass, never been good at catching them but with the yak I had one in the boat within five minutes of fishing. Now I'm just waiting on my ram mount to mount the fish finder and to get the rest of my saftey gear so I can be ready to meet up with some of you in the future.
