I have some roe from two salmon.  The eggs are pretty small, not like in the restaurants.  Any idea if I can still try to prepare them as edible roe?  Any ideas other than brining?

Look up Hank shaw, his book is hunter angler gardener cook, finding the forgotten feast. He blogs, and will reply to emails. I gave him my roe last Sunday and he told me how to make it, but I don't remember.
Hope that helps, Sunny.

my salmon had roe in it the size of steelhead roe. I'm going to prep them tonight and see if they taste just as good as if they were from a restaurant I'll let you know if its worth prepping for eats.

well i processed the roe and i feel it came out alright considering it's been a long time since I've had any to process. Here's some photos of the product before and after.
