Bloomfield Family Farms (organic produce growers) has a "U-Pick Sunday" event where you drop $20 bucks and fill your wagon with lettuce, greens, celery, green beens, squashes, potatoes, cabbage and a whole lot more.  Great family fun too, they even had a brass band playing in the field last Sunday.  I suggest bringing gloves and a trowel or small shovel and a knife for cutting lettuce and greens.

If you are headed home after fishing the Sonoma Coast on Sundays, Bloomfield Farms is located 3 miles west of Valley Ford on Valey Ford Road on the north side (Route 1 turns into Valley Ford Road, going to Petaluma, where Route 1 turns south towards Pt Reyes).  The hours are 9am-2pm Sundays at 12550 Valley Ford Road.

It looks like the better part of the Fall Classic dinners will be organic (the rest "natural") and I really appreciate Bloomfield Farms stepping up to sponsor our event, they take very good care of us all year long.  The Farm's general manager and son-in-law, Nick "Pops" Popodopolous, is a sick fisherman and has found a lot more use for his kayak since we hooked up a few years back.

Great. Thanks for the information on this. I'll add a stop on my return trip from the Fall Classic to acquire side dishes to the fish I catch there.  http://www.kayakfishing.com/events.html

Thanks for posting this. I drive by there all the time.
