Jig heads for the Gulf of Mexico.  Not sure if anyone's interested but I enjoyed making these and getting some pics back.  I met a guy online who was having trouble finding scampi or bullet heads. with strong hooks.  He said he was loosing for out of five fish due to bending. So I asked how big his target fish were he said 20-25 lb red snapper. I decided there was no way they would get bent as I've had friends get big halibut  with no problem in Alaska. . A few weeks later got message and pics saying how happy he was. Only one bent hook but it was actualy not bent only twisted in the lead. He landed the fish also and was really happy.  A few weeks later he said he wanted some twelve ouncers for a grouper trip. I bought the mold and started making them.  What a pain but got it almost figured out. Each mold comes with a learning curve and.takes a bit to figure out.  For the twelve I decided on a 11/0 xxxx strong owner hook attached to a #3 stainles eyelet.

First the snapper heads. Next some various twelve and ten oz grouped jigs. The 12 oz heads have really big hooks but the camera angle was funny so its hard to tell.  The colors are bright glow white and glow neon orange and candy purple but pic always comes out looking blue.

Nice Andy the owner 3x hook/ stainless eye sounds like a very solid combo that can handle some serious line. Nice pours on the heads too and that is some great powder coating. You are dialed man.
