I just got back from a 4 mile paddle and decided where to mount my pole holders. I think the next thing will be an anchor trolly.

flush mounts are nice for storing stuf but got to love the track system

I have flush mounts on my sink and don't really like them they seem pretty useless when I was trolling

That's what sold me on the tarpon instead of the manta ray. I plan on using the rear pole holders ( when I get one more )  for outriggers for sturgion when the weather gets bad in the delta

Hall, I noticed that you only used two bolts on your rod holders, 2 questions:
1.how stable are the holders with a pole in it?
2. What size bolts did you use?

I believe I used 1/4 x 1 .washers fit in the groove for the track also and a non nylock nut

As far stability I can pick the yak up by the pole holders ill post up current pics of my yak it has chamged alot since that day ( the day I brought it home )
