Will be launching around 8am from the south side of Goat Rock @ Jenner then paddling north. Should be a pretty easy surf launch on friday. I don't like to go alone here. The Landlord has hit two kayaks that I know of here. The woman who was in Bay Area Sea Kayakers was unhurt and the older guy got cut up some but was ok. The fishing is very good once you cross the Russian River mouth. Going for Lings and rockfish and may try for salmon as well.

Changing to 5/15 for more favorable wind and wave conditions

We do our fishing north of the conservation area. About a 1.3 mile paddle from Goat Rock. But you have me wondering if it is a bust to paddle across the reserve with fish onboard. Anybody know? Oh hell I'm not going to worry about crossing the reserve with fish.

No tackle in the water and you should be OK after you survive the third degree should you run into F&G.
