I got on the lake about 6:30am, no wind and the lake was flat. The water was warmer than I expected. Launched under Hwy 49 bridge and headed toward the main lake.  had one pole set up with crappie jigs and just hanging off the back while I pluged the bank. Bass'n was slow until the wind picked up and I found some muddy points, but no legal Bass. I caught 8-9 little ones, still fun.

Now the crappie jigs were producing a large perch every now and then, big enough to filet. After tossing the first 5  :smt115  I decided to keep some of the bigger ones for my Dad. I caught about 25 perch kept 9 of the biggest.

Headed back to the bridge about 1pm, and came up on a trafic jam were I launched. Boats were lined up almost to the hwy waiting to launch, not very pretty and temps were starting to heat up. The other boat launches were closed too full. Thats why I stayed home today.
