Got my last couple of days on the water in Capitola this week, some short lings and RF. But mostly just drifting with the otters and watching the dolphins cruise the kelp beds.
My wife just got hired by a major apparel company named after a river that supposedly has steelhead and salmon in good numbers. Plus I get to keep my job telecommuting with the Watsonville marine retailer. So that is good :smt001
This site has taught me so much, and has been a great community to check in with sometimes on a daily basis!
My kayaks are being loaded on the truck as I type and will soon be exploring new waters and different adventures.
I kept my same handle on the Northwest  site so if yo are in the area drop me a pm.

Take care be safe and catch fish!

Welcome to Oregon! Time to start a new skill set. I assume you'll be here for the Fall Salmon madness? I'm in The Gorge, about 65 miles East of Portland. You're gonna love it here. The only thing I miss is getting out to the ocean as much as I used to when I lived in Aloha, Oregon, but pulling in large Salmon and Steelhead more than makes up for it.

Safe travels and tight lines, and yes don't forget the fish porn!   We could go for some 'strange' every once in a while.
