I lost a close friend at ocean cove today. He is a long time old school motorcycle and spearfishing enthusiast. He was raised in an orphanage and various foster homes. He lived in cazadero and taught me everything i know about spearfishing and abdiving. Although he was never a member of NCKA, he was a true man of the sea. He had a 42 foot sailboat that he had sailed to every corner of the world. He rode motorcycles with some of the toughest bikers alive. He had a couple of bad ass whitewater canoes and a tarpon 140. We paddled many miles together. He died with his speargun in his hand.   God bless his soul.  R.i.P. Brad ross Smith.

I want to pay my respects to Brad Smith. Jack introduced me to Brad and I liked his spirit from the beginning. Brad always had a smile that was contagious. I believe this was from living life to it's fullest and sharing his experiences and caring for everyone he met. May god bless him and his family.
