I am wanting to go out Sunday the 29th. I have a hankering for chasing some salmon. Guess rock fish would come in second.

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

If I go out of rodeo, I either launch on the boat launch or a short some what beach launch off to the side of it... I went out for a cruise today to test my ff.... No fish tho.

I've only launched at Pinole Creek so far. How deep/far out are you going?

rodeo marina is still open. all it is now is a storage/boat repair shop. there is a yearly fee to launch but not sure if there is a daily fee. i know a friend who knows a friend that knows the owner of that place. he has let me launch a few times without pay, but im sure he will be asking here shortly. if you do decide to roll through to the marina, there is a left turn immediately after the bridge(over the train tracks) and a small little beach launch there. its public so park at your own risk. ive done it a few times with no problems.

if the tide is good and fishing is great, im usually about 200 feet off shore in about 6-10 feet of water. i troll rattle traps and swim baits. im not sure what the weather exactly holds for tomorrow but today and yesterday was rough. i still went out to drift and cast for salmon in front of the refinery for nada but was able to mark some kind of fish with the ff. i grew up fishing for salmon in that area so i know they might be traveling through now or soon.
