7/27 Oroville Adventure gold pit Salmon/ forebay coho

Headed up to plumas county this weekend to camp with some old college buddies near greenville. Planning to fish oroville on the way up Friday morning/afternoon. last weekend I hit both the feather riverr (briefly) and the forebay ( also briefly) for lots of fish sightings but no hookups, basically a scouting mission which payed off considering I finally found a place to launch a kayak into my honey hole in the oroville wildlife area. Let me know If u would like to join the adventure, no guarantees of fish, but definitely worth the miles have hooked salmon to thirty pounds from the gold mine

Okay i read about this place and the truch was loaded today for a trip some where this friday however i could not make my mind up i live in ceadar ridge near grass valley where is the launch and i will be there...

There was a shit load of people on the feather today. I fished my bass/crappie pond instead. DFG out in force. I caught all small bass and crappie.

Are you fishing the fore bay, the Afterbay, or the diversion pool? The Afterbay is in the wildlife area. The fore bay is a park at hwy 70, and the diversion pool is directly below Oroville dam.

Plan was to fish the diversion pool, but looks like it would be later in the afternoon l, interested?
