Tippy, but fast!  Ravensblack loves his.  I have one but it's super tippy with my fat ass on it.

its the only kayak I've ever know, and a two hatch at that!  I'm a small dude, but I've yet to flip it other than one time beach landing in cayucos.  Been in ocean, river, lakes and its all good.  Its probably a whole different story for a normal sized person.

I love the scupper pro. Stability is dependent on your body type. I would not call the boat "super tippy" but it takes more skill to paddle than a wider sit on top like a prowler. If your looking for a great all arounder that is fast and sea worthy the Scupper is an awesome boat. If your looking for a stable fishing platform you may want to try others.

Big guys with big shoulders (upper body weight) can find them tippy. My problem with them is the seat area is very thin and tends to push your legs in towards the center. 2 hrs on ours and I'm done for the day! Hip pain and fatigue sucks... Not a great platform for fishing...
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Dan nailed it. I paddled one and found it to be too wet a ride and too small a cockpit. It handled great though. I'm 200# so I felt like a slightly more forgiving boat was better. Classic hull design though, just a speed machine for plastic SOTs.

Keep in mind I'm 280 and 6'3!  :smt005  Pretty amazing that it can handle the weight at all, really.  I like it in calm water, but any sort of chop and it's squirrelly, with me overloading it.

Im 5'7" 160lbs. not too tipsy in calm water. in the ocean, not too tipsy if I stay seated, but moving around while on the yak in the ocean is a little difficult if its choppy, like trying to get to the front hatch and especially when trying to get up and take a pee. just hang your legs out both sides the kayak for stability if you wana move around and you'll b fine. other than than, I love my scupper pro.

also the older scupper pros are heavy.  Lots of thick plastic I guess.

I hear that Nathan and Rick had a race; Nathan in a t-13 and Rick in a scupper pro.  HAHAHA, thats not a race, thats a beating  :smt003

No they arent tippy much. Decent secondary a bit edgey primary. Fast. Ive dove off mine for a long time. 6-0 175 lbs. I have the TW. Weight? In the 50's I think. Kick ass dive kayak and a decent fishing craft. Wet ride like Sean said.

I weigh 220 and fish out of a scupper pro when I go to La Jolla.  They are tipsier than my prowler, but I have never had a problem with surf launches/landings or general use.
